About Sikh Journalist

I’m Kuwarjeet Singh, and Sikh Journalist began as a simple blog back in my first year of journalism school. In October 2019, I had the opportunity to job shadow Pooja Handa and Gurdeep Ahluwalia at CP24—two of the main anchors at the time. While it was an inspiring experience, I couldn't help but notice the absence of Sikh representation in mainstream media. That moment sparked something in me: a determination to carve out a space where our stories could be told, amplified, and celebrated.

What started as a personal blog has now evolved into a full-fledged multimedia platform—one that blends storytelling with journalism, shedding light on underrepresented voices and bringing forward narratives that deserve to be heard.
